viewWhat Our Guests Say

I love this house! So well done. The interiors are beautiful and the views are really breathtaking. I was able to completely relax even with 4 young children. This is a magical place. There are plenty of great restaurants within a short drive right on the beaches. What I loved most was how few non-Greek tourists I saw in the middle of the summer on the beaches. This is a perfect escape from the over-crowded islands, quiet and gorgeous but still plenty to do. We went out on boats and water skied. There are plenty of options. Food was great and not expensive.

I write this while we are sitting outside on the back veranda of the Sea House by candlelight, listening to Greek music. It is warm and balmy in Paros, and we hear the crickets singing. Every minute since we have arrived has exceeded our expectations! We have fallen in love with the life here. The Sea House is so perfect in every minute and thoughtful detail.. it captures the essence of the Aegean. The garden is a work of art! What an amazing landscape! We have eaten fresh sea urchin out of the shell and grilled octopus every single day! The sea temperature is divine, and we are enjoying swimming and snorkeling on the private beach. We will be so sad to leave. We can't thank you enough for sharing Sea House with us.

Our stay at The Sea House was wonderful. The house is situated on an idyllic, remote promontory in Paros. It brings together the best of all worlds. It is beautifully appointed and state-of-the-art in its construction, and yet it captures the look and feel of a traditional island home -- whitewashed and discreetly rising out from the rocky, verdant property. Every room has unique character, and is tastefully finished -- the house is sensual and sophisticated, but not flashy. The villa is quiet, secluded, and private, and yet it is located extremely close to the charming port town of Aliki and near all essential amenities -- well stocked supermarkets and pharmacies, as well as one of the most refined and delicious bakeries to be found in all of Europe! This made our stay all the better, as we enjoyed shopping, cooking and eating sensual meals on one of the many terraces.

Within a two minute walk, one reaches the small nearby beach, which is dramatically nestled beside a golden rocky bluff. The water is crystal clear, offering excellent snorkeling -- it really is one's own private paradise. There are stunning views out over the sea, and from sunrise to sunset -- it is hard to ever want to leave! Our three teenage boys (who normally would have wanted to frequent the town, explore the island's beaches, and be restless as teenagers normally are...) surprised us by asking on several days if we could just "hang out, as it was so beautiful." I was secretly pleased to watch them sit and soak up the dramatic views. We are very much looking forward to a return visit to this magnificent villa, The Sea House.

When my fiancé and I decided to get married on the island of Paros, we chose to rent the Sea House. It is just outside Alyki on a peninsula jutting out into the sea. My fiancé and I stayed here, along with my children (pre-teens) and my sister's family. We swam daily at an isolated beach, ate lunches and dinners outside on the terrace, and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely home. One bedroom has air-conditioning & the others have doors opening to patios or terraces to allow for airflow. There are plenty of bathrooms, and a large room in the basement where three teenage boys stayed (also with a bathroom). With a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, we could have stayed comfortably there much longer than we did! Internet service was provided by a USB stick for one computer – the longer we stayed, the less we cared about the internet anyway! Ramona, the island host, was very helpful and always available if we needed anything. She helped us drive to and from the port, helped us rent a car and ATVs. All in all, a perfect stay!

Idyllic is the word to describe this gem of a seaside house. We have visited for the past two summers. Each time we have experienced a feeling of total relaxation. The first year, our three teenagers accompanied us. The Sea House proved to be exceedingly comfortable for us and them. There were a total of eight people in the house and yet it remained private, with plenty of space inside and on the terraces for all to enjoy. The lower level bedroom/bathroom was great for the kids. Among the things they loved about the trip was the house's easy access to the private beach and, of course, the vibrant, young night-life of Naoussa. Following a morning swim, my husband and I spent most mornings in the town of Alyki, only a few minutes from the house, leisurely enjoying coffee, traditional "toast" and people-watching. From there we went wherever the mood took us: to the local bakery for delicious traditional Greek breads and cookies; boating out to swim in the nearby turquoise-colored lagoon, lunching, shopping and gallery hopping in Parikia; touring the narrow streets and mountaintop sights of Lefkes; enjoying the wonderful Greek tradition of a siesta after a long lunch. The possibilities are endless. Nothing was better than to be at The Sea House in the early evening to enjoy a glass of ouzo, fresh tomatoes and local cheese, a game of backgammon and, always, a long, quiet spectacular sunset. Perfection! Each time we sadly depart, we begin to plan our return trip.

Last summer, my husband and I spent a few days at the Sea House on the island of Paros. It was like arriving in heaven after a very tough year. An intimate hideaway unfolds on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. The house is a sanctuary of pure indulgence and seclusion. It provides a very nice and relaxing atmosphere, with its terrace facing the sea where we dined around a marble table. The thatched roof keeps the place very cool despite the outside heat. A fully equipped kitchen is inside next to the terrace. The living room is wide and comfortable. The bedrooms are lovely and each has its own bathroom. The house has a direct access to the sea. At the end of the afternoon, when the heat was fading away, we walked down a short path to the adjacent beach for a swim in the sea. Back at the house, we rinsed off in the comfortable and private outdoor shower. All in all, I was impressed by the very silent surrounding. I highly recommend this exquisite home as an excellent place to really rest and make the best of Paros, away from the crowds.
